This blog is dedicated to EUROPEAN CITIES: their growth, their structure, their social patterns, their patterns of inequality, their planning and more importantly maybe their future...
It is based on the work of the students of the Lycée Guy de Maupassant who have joined the European section, enjoying as a consequence an extra hour of English and a special hour of history and geography taught in English. Each year a new project is presented to the students.
- 2006-2007 project: The many faces of Colombes.
- 2007-2008 project: Planning cities.
Our high school is located in Colombes, on the outskirts of Paris, in one of those "banlieues" or suburbs which surround our capital.
We wish you a pleasant visit...
